Adopt Me: The Pet Game Everybody Knows
Hey guys!! Thanks for clicking on this, every read helps us out. Today I am reviewing Adopt Me! by Uplift Games. This game came out in 2017, so its one of the most famous games on all of Roblox. Up to 35 people can be in a server.
Ok so if you never played, let me explain how it works. The main thing is pets. You buy eggs with Bucks, which is the money in the game, and hatch them to get a pet. Pets come in different rarities, from Common all the way up to Legendary.
Your pet starts as a Newborn and grows up through Junior, Pre-Teen, Teen and Post-Teen until it becomes Full Grown. To make it grow, you do tasks like feeding it and taking care of it. Higher rarity pets take way more tasks to grow up.
Then theres the really cool part. If you get four Full Grown pets of the same kind, you can combine them at the Neon Cave to make a Neon pet that glows. And if you get four Neons of the same pet, you can make a Mega Neon. Thats the big goal for a lot of players.
You can also build your own house, roleplay with friends and trade pets with other people.
What I like: its super chill. Not every game has to be sweaty and stressful. Building a house and taking care of pets with friends is relaxing. Making a Neon feels SO good because you worked hard for it.
What is annoying: the grind is LONG. Getting four Full Grown pets of the same kind takes forever. And trading can be risky because not everyone is fair, so only trade with people you trust and never fall for "trust trades." Also a lot of the coolest stuff is easier to get if you spend Robux.
You know what Adopt Me teaches you? Patience. You cant make a Neon in one day, you have to do a little every day. School is literally the same. If you study a little every day instead of cramming, your grades get way better. Keep working hard in school guys, it pays off just like the grind does.
Who is it for: kids who like pets, building and chill games. If you want action and fighting, this is not your game. Zander is more of a chaos and destruction game guy, but even he likes collecting stuff. 86% of people who rated it gave it a thumbs up.
My score: 7.5/10. Fun and relaxing, but the grind is real. Thanks for reading to the end!!
