Retro Games for People Who Have Never Played Retro Games
Ok so I know a lot of you guys have never played old school arcade games before and thats totally fine!! The ROMZ Vault on our site has like 40+ classic games and it can be kinda overwhelming so heres my guide on which ones to play first.
Pac-Man — You HAVE to start here. Its the most famous game ever for a reason. You eat dots and run away from ghosts. Simple right?? WRONG. Those ghosts are SMART and this game gets hard fast. But its the perfect starter game because everyone can pick it up immediately.
Frogger — This one is so fun omg. You just gotta get your frog across the road without getting hit by cars. Sounds easy but its NOT. I rage quit this game like 5 times before I finally beat the first level lol.
Donkey Kong — This is literally the game that invented Mario!! You climb up platforms and dodge barrels that a giant gorilla throws at you. Its super satisfying when you get a good run going.
Galaga — Space shooter vibes. Aliens come down in cool patterns and you shoot them. Pro tip: let them capture your ship and then rescue it to get DOUBLE firepower. Zander taught me that trick and it changed everything.
Start with those four and then explore the rest of the vault. Our parents literally grew up on these games and they say the ROMZ Vault brings back so many memories. Games used to be SO different back then!!
