JULY RECAP: Lots of Uploads, Lots of Lessons
Yo whats up guys!! July recap time and bro... I went way harder than usual this month.
My channel (Zander Animations): So far in July I posted 6 long videos and 15 shorts. Thats 21 uploads, which is more than any other month this year. Those uploads have gotten 14,584 views and 141 likes so far. My top 3 were all CaptainClark shorts: bro can not trickshot (1,530 views), I suspected that this guy was a bot.. (1,348 views) and to the left to the right (1,313 views). Funny thing tho, March still had more views with way less uploads. So posting more does NOT automatically mean more views. Lesson learned.
I also started a whole new series called The core. Episode 1 (The Landing, the pilot) is out and the episode 2 trailer is out too. I also did I voiced over Homer let the Barts out and Top 5 cartoon cat pictures spotted. Trying new stuff is fun even if long videos still dont get as many views as shorts.
Asher's channel (Asher Situations Official): Asher posted 0 long videos and 9 shorts so far, and those have 806 views and 33 likes so far. His top ones were I doubt anyone is going to comment (220 views) and best day ever spongebob FNF (129 views). He did a bunch of Geometry Dash shorts this month and they just didnt really take off yet. Thats ok bro, it happens to me ALL the time. And guys, go comment on that short so he stops doubting lol.
The hard part: Posting this much is TIRING. Coming up with fresh ideas every day is hard, and sometimes I posted stuff that just didnt work. Like my jul 17! short only got 102 views. When you post a lot, some of it is gonna flop.
What worked: Short funny gameplay clips with a clear joke. People want to laugh fast. What flopped: Random shorts with no real idea behind them.
Even with all this posting, school still comes first. Studying and keeping your grades up never really goes on vacation fr. I try to do my learning first and then make content after. That way I dont feel guilty when I am editing for hours.
Advice for kids who wanna start a channel: Posting more can help, but quality matters more than how many uploads you have. Dont burn yourself out. Find what makes people laugh and do more of it. And start a series, its the easiest way to always have the next idea ready.
Thank you guys SO much for all the support this month. Comment down below what you want next from The core!!
