JUNE RECAP: Shorts Are Carrying Us Fr
Yo whats up guys!! June is almost over so its recap time for both our channels. And this month was actually a lot better for me compared to May.
My channel (Zander Animations): I posted 2 long videos and 5 shorts in June. All together those uploads have gotten 5,612 views and 72 likes so far. My top 3 were all shorts: whats wrong with my walking animation (1,842 views), how much brick walls can the normal Jeep break through in mpg (1,501 views), and this was.. sad. my TADC edit (1,163 views). The Jeep one was so fun to make because its just pure destruction lol.
Asher's channel (Asher Situations Official): Asher posted 1 long video and 2 shorts. They got 1,648 views and 26 likes so far. His top one was the MrBeast Hits 500 million milestone short with 1,558 views. His du bist gut canoe short got 72 and his MrBeast long video got 18. So the short did WAY better than the long video, which is kinda what happens to both of us a lot.
The hard part: coming up with fresh ideas every single week. Some days I have an idea and it takes 10 minutes to make. Other days I open my laptop and my brain is just empty. Its genuinely the hardest part of making content.
What worked: Funny gameplay moments and physics destruction stuff. Short, quick, and something weird happens. People love that.
What flopped: My long videos still dont get a lot of views. My crafting CayluSaurus short only got 118 views too. Thats ok though, I keep trying new things.
Also school is still super important even when your channel is going good. I try to finish my studying first before I edit anything. Good grades now means more options later, and honestly it makes me feel less stressed when I sit down to make a video.
Advice for kids who wanna start a channel: Make shorts if you are just starting. They are easier to make and more people see them. Try a lot of different ideas and see what sticks. And dont delete a video just because it flopped, sometimes they get views later.
Thanks for all the views and likes this month guys!! Comment down below which short was your favorite.
