Our March on YouTube: The Real Numbers
Hey guys!! Its the end of March so its time for a recap of both our channels. Thank you to everyone who watched our stuff this month, even one view helps us out.
Ok lets start with Zander because honestly he was ON FIRE. On Zander Animations he posted 4 videos and 8 shorts in March so far. Those uploads already have 14,752 views and 178 likes, which is crazy. His top ones were "HUH HOW?!?!.... ON MY LAST BLOCK???!!!!" with 3,916 views, "can I get a valve of 1b?" with 2,924 views, and "fun things to do in garden horizons!" with 2,813 views. He also came back with an "IM BACK!" video and started a Roblox Studio tutorial series about making a shop GUI, which is really cool because hes teaching people how to actually build stuff.
Now me. On Asher Situations Official I posted 0 long videos and 4 shorts this month so far. I wont lie, thats not a lot. Those 4 shorts have 7,423 views and 56 likes so far. My top one was "bruhhhh again?" with 2,581 views, then my Steal a Brainrot meme short with 2,079 views, and then "#transition" with 1,461 views. I was pretty busy so I didnt get to make a big video, but im happy the shorts did good.
The hardest part of having a channel is coming up with NEW ideas all the time. You finish one video and then you have to think of the next one right away. Sometimes my brain is just empty lol.
What worked: shorts. Both of us got way more views on shorts than long videos. Funny moments and edits do really good. What flopped: Zanders two tutorial videos only have 63 and 27 views so far, even tho they are actually helpful. Thats kinda sad, but I think he should keep going because tutorials can take a while to get found.
My advice if you want to start a channel: start with shorts because they are easier to make and more people see them. Make stuff YOU think is funny. And dont get sad if one video flops, it happens to everybody.
Also, school comes first, for real. A channel is fun but good grades are what actually set you up for later, so keep studying hard and make videos after your work is done. Thats what we try to do.
