America Is 250 Years Old Today and Thats CRAZY
Hey guys!! Happy Fourth of July!! And this one is extra special because today the United States turns 250 years old. Thats called the Semiquincentennial, which is a really long word that I had to practice saying like ten times lol.
Me and Zander are American kids, but we live in Lima, Peru. So its kind of funny celebrating the Fourth of July from another country. But we still celebrate it!! Its cool to think about how much has happened in 250 years. Like there were no video games, no internet, no YouTube, nothing. Now we have Roblox and people uploading videos from all over the world. Thats crazy.
And heres the best part about living in Peru. Peru has its own Independence Day on July 28, called Fiestas Patrias. So this month we basically get TWO big celebrations. Thats a W month if you ask me.
Speaking of America, MrBeast is probably the most famous American YouTuber ever, and I made a short about him hitting 500 million subscribers last month. Its so inspiring that someone started small just like us and kept going.
If you are celebrating with fireworks tonight, please be safe and let the grown ups handle them.
Now lets talk about summer break. Summer is the best because you have more time for gaming and making videos. Me and Zander have been playing a ton and planning new stuff for our channels. BUT here is something important that I want to explain. If you stop learning for the whole summer, your brain kind of forgets stuff, and then going back to school is SO hard.
So my summer routine is: do something fun, but also read a little every day and practice some school stuff like math. It doesnt have to be hours, even a little bit helps. Studying hard and getting good grades is what lets you do cool things later, and summer is a good time to stay ahead instead of falling behind.
My tips for a good summer: 1. Read something every day, even if its about video games. 2. Practice math for a few minutes. 3. Go outside sometimes lol. 4. Then game with your friends without feeling bad about it.
