Asher Taught You to RUN. Now Lets Talk About Chasing
Yo whats up guys!! Last week Asher posted Huss Valley Review: RUN!! (The Game Literally Tells You To) and gave it an 8/10. Me and Asher have been playing it a lot, so I wanna add my side.
What Asher got right: Everything about the basics. One Chaser, everyone else is a Runner, Runners have to cross the arena 3 times, and if you get tagged you turn into a Chaser. He also explained the momentum movement, the left and right dashes and the quick stops, which are the most important thing in the whole game. And he is right, juking someone in front of everybody is the BEST feeling.
What he skipped: playing as the Chaser. His review was mostly about being a Runner. But you WILL be a Chaser a lot, so heres my tips. Dont chase one person forever, they will juke you all day. Cut them off instead of running right behind them. And when theres more Chasers, spread out so the Runners have nowhere to go. Teamwork as a Chaser is SO strong.
Nobody sits out. Asher didnt mention this but its huge. In a lot of games when you lose you just wait and watch. In Huss Valley when you get tagged you just switch sides and keep playing. That makes it really good for younger kids who hate waiting.
Spending smart. There are two kinds of money. Gems get you abilities like Cloak and Pocket Door, and Coins get you one-use items like the Banana Peel, Rescue Kit and Adrenaline. My tip is dont spend everything the second you get it. Think about what actually helps how YOU play. Also the momentum movement takes practice, so practice before you spend a bunch.
Who its really for: Asher said kids who like tag games. I would add kids who DONT like grinding. Rounds are fast and you can just hop in and have fun for 10 minutes. Also its brand new, so stuff might change, but thats kinda exciting.
Also lowkey Asher is good at movement because he literally trained me in my A TRAINER HELPS ME IN THE WORLDS HARDEST OBBY video. And he FINALLY got the Star Employee badge in DOORS, so congrats bro.
Getting better at this game is all about practice and not giving up, and school is the same. Keep studying, keep your grades up, and dont quit just because something is hard at first.
